CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.

Joining Flashpoint in March 2017, Prakash was at the forefront of planning, building and launching the company’s Global Partner Program, which was officially announced in September 2017. Six months later, the Program received accolades by earning a 5-Star rating in CRN’s 2018 Partner Program Guide. During this time, the company doubled its number of partners and expanded into the Asia Pacific market, further extending the benefit of Business Risk Intelligence (BRI).

Prakash brings a wealth of experience to Flashpoint, having led marketing departments, driven direct enterprise deals and running channel sales for numerous technology companies, most recently at Invincea, which was acquired by Sophos. She holds a Business Management Degree in Public Affairs with a minor in Sociology from Indiana University Bloomington and attended Rutgers University as part of their Mini MBA Digital Marketing Program. She is a member of Rutgers Big Data Advisory Council advisory board, and is also an active member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA).

“This accomplished group of leaders is steadily guiding the IT channel into a prosperous new era of services-led business models and deep, strategic partnerships,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “CRN’s 2018 Women of the Channel list honors executives who are driving channel progress through a number of achievements—exemplary partner programs, innovative product development and marketing, effective team-building, visionary leadership and accelerated sales growth—as well as advocacy for the next generation of women channel executives.”

“Flashpoint’s Global Channel Partner Program plays a key role in our global growth and providing partners with the right tools, assets, training, support, including incentive plans with substantial upside and margin protection, is vital to our success,” said CEO Josh Lefkowitz at Flashpoint. “Ayesha has the experience and tenacity, which has helped shape and drive our Partner Program forward and our partners are thriving. Ayesha is a force to be reckoned with and we’re elated that she’s been recognized as one of CRN’s 2018 Women of the Channel.”

The 2018 Women of the Channel list will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/wotc.
