Juvenile Parliament to kick off soon
The project is a recommendation of the United Nations for world parliaments to contribute to the promotion of peace, citizenship and democracy among young people.
The students will be practicing the work and activities of a member of parliament, such as writing and discussing draft-laws.
According to MP Nuno Carnaval - on an interview to ANGOP, on the fringes of a meeting with youth platforms, organised by the National Assembly – the Juvenile Parliament will be comprised of 230 secondary school students from all over the country.
