This was said to Angop on Monday in Lisbon by the head of Angolan Youths Forum in Portugal, David Goubel, after the second meeting with Angolan young officials dwelling in Portugal for the enlightening of the local elections slated for 2020, adding that it will increase the degree of responsibility of the locals to choose their mayor.

However, he defended the gradual implementation of the local elections to enable correcting some mistakes, taking into account that the process is a new one in the Angolan reality.

Ruling party’s Youth Wing (JMPLA) will promote more meetings of this kind to empower the organization.
