New Director of Corporate Affairs Appointed at the FSAI

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) today announced that Kevin Roantree has been appointed Director of Corporate Affairs. In this role, Kevin is responsible for developing and managing a multi-disciplinary team with a focus on human resources, finance, ICT, information, data analysis, corporate governance and organisational development. Kevin joins the FSAI from the Health Research Board (HRB) where he was Director of Corporate Operations. Prior to that position, Kevin was IT Service Delivery Manager for Capita Ireland where he managed a large team of IT professionals across Ireland, France and Germany.
Kevin brings an enormous amount of experience and knowledge to his new role at the FSAI, where he is joining an already outstanding Corporate Affairs team. He brings with him a strong track record in successfully ensuring the development of organisations, the appropriate allocation of its resources and the development of its external relationships and influence. Kevin’s focus will be on ensuring that the FSAI’s business planning and delivery model, as well as its supporting structures, processes and systems are in place to maximise the impact and benefits which the FSAI’s strategy delivers. Kevin has a strong conviction in the importance of creating a positive, engaging and collaborative working environment for the FSAI team and in fostering a culture of innovative thinking and continuous improvement.
A native of Dublin, Kevin holds an MBA from Henley and an MSc from University College, Cork in Personal and Management Coaching. In addition he has studied extensively at Columbia University, the Irish Management Institute, the London Business School among others in areas such as leadership, business transformation and strategy development. Kevin is a member of the International Coaching Federation, British Psychological Society (Personality Assessment) and is Board member, and Treasurer, of SHINE.
