Unions, doctors and health care advocates call for pharmacare
HAMILTON, Ontario, March 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Canadian Labour Congress will host a town hall discussion on pharmacare from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7 at the Liuna Station in Hamilton. The event will feature CLC President Hassan Yussuff on why Canada’s unions believe everyone with a health card should have prescription drug coverage. He’ll be joined by pharmacare experts, including the University of British Columbia’s Dr. Steve Morgan, Canadian Doctors for Medicare’s Dr. Brian Hutchison, and Dr. Gordon Guyatt of the Ontario Health Coalition.
