Julião António retires as chief judge of Audit Court
Addressing the staff, Julião António emphasized that the law of life and the dynamics of processes allows for the renewal of people, for whom the most important is that institutions remain as an aggregate of the effort of all and the legacy in which all can be reviewed.
He said that he was proud to leave an institution in full operation, and is exercising all the powers provided in Law 13/10 of July 09 - Organic Law and the Court of Audit Process.
The law refers to the exercises of the prior and successive inspection, through audits, inquiries, assessment of accountability, the fulfillment of financial responsibilities and the issuance of the opinion to the General Account of the State, instrument that serves the National Assembly, within the framework of political oversight.
"We are grateful for our work, rejoice in our mission and comfort us in the fact that we have been useful to our people, whom we love very much," said Julião António, who has more than 56 years of public service.
