President gets message from Mozambican counterpart
The message was delivered by the president's envoy, the Interior minister of Mozambique, Jaime Basílio Monteiro, during an audience granted to him at Luanda's presidential palace.
At the end of the meeting, Jaime Monteiro told the press that he expressed his country's appreciation on Angola's dedication to the conclusion of an agreement on visas suppression in ordinary passports.
He said that it has to do with mechanism that will allow the Angolans holding ordinary passports to enter Mozambican territory without visa, vice versa.
According to him, the move will tackle the flow of visitors in both countries and boost trade.
The minister also described the cooperation between the two countries’ Interior Ministries as excellent.
Under this cooperation, Mozambican police members are attending the training in various specialties in Angola.
Mozambican minister is expected to assess the cooperation in terms of Security and Internal Order, as part of the visiting agenda.
The programme also include meeting with the Angolan counterpart, Ângelo de Barros Veiga Tavares and visit to National Police Command of Luanda.
