Collaboration with Israel goes through agriculture

Ondjiva, ANGOLA, November 14 - The agriculture and water sectors are among the priorities in the collaboration that the State of Israel intends to provide to the Angolan province of Cunene, within the framework of bilateral cooperation with Angola.,

The choice of these sectors, particularly for the province of Cunene, is due to the fact that the region, located in the arid and semi-arid agro-ecological zone in southern Angola, is subject to droughts and floods, which has negatively influenced agricultural production.

The desire of the State of Israel to collaborate with the province of Cunene was expressed by the Israeli ambassador to Angola, Oren Rozemblat, who makes a visit to that region of the country.

Speaking to the press, the Israeli diplomat said that the choice of the province of Cunene is due in particular to the fact that it has similar climate conditions to that of Israel, that is why it intends to pass on the experience of his country in the actions related to water and agricultural production.

On Tuesday, the ambassador Oren Rozemblat went to the commune of Evale, Cuanhama municipality.

The State of Israel and its companies are investing in various areas in the Angolan economy, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
