Forum on municipalities seeks solutions to local problems

Luanda, ANGOLA, November 13 - Over 500 members from various social groups will attend as from Tuesday a two-day meeting to discuss the plights of the communities. ,

 

The event is part of 5th Forum on the Municipalities and Cities of Angola (FMCA), sponsored by Angolan Executive, through the Ministry of Territorial Administration and State Reform.

 

Vice President of Republic, Bornito de Sousa, will open the event on behalf of the Head of State, João Lourenço.

 

Going under the motto "Reforming the State to better serve", the meeting will analyse issues related to the reform of local State administration.

 

The objective is to set feasible policies aimed at speeding up the community development, through the municipal services of health, education, basic sanitation and others.

 

Government officials and academics will present the contents of the forum at Luanda’s “Talatona” Convention Centre.
