The partnership will include support for the first IP Awareness Summit, to be held in Chicago, November 6, by CIPU in collaboration with Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. It also will include support for a course at the University of Southern California, “The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Intellectual Property,” which is the first course of its kind open to all undergraduate majors.

“CIPU is leading the way in promoting the importance of IP awareness and identifying ways of working together with businesses, organizations and universities to highlight how intellectual property impacts people,” said Phil Kim, President of the Michelson 20MM Foundation. “We look forward to collaborating with CIPU to improve awareness and lower the learning curve for IP rights among students and other audiences.”

Michelson 20MM has helped to establish the first college level IP course open to all undergraduate majors.
