Ability to serve small businesses continues the expansion of the Business Banking division
BROOKLYN, N.Y., Aug. 10, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kenneth J. Mahon, President and Chief Executive Officer of Dime Community Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company” or “Dime”) (NASDAQ:DCOM), the parent company of Dime Community Bank (the “bank”), is pleased to announce today that the bank has been approved as a Small Business Administration ("SBA") lender. The bank will offer loans under the SBA 7(a) program, which will offer small businesses additional resources for their borrowing needs.
