Everything is built around the core sensor, NIR-ONE, the smallest spectral sensor working at a true NIR range in the market today. Modules are available in approximately 400 nm increments to target absorption bands of customer interest between 1350 - 2500 nm. Applications include sensing of moisture, protein, fat, pharmaceutical blending, hydrocarbons, chemical reaction monitoring and more.
The NIR-ONE sensor creates a strong foundation, around which meaningful intelligence has been built beyond the hardware layer. Spectral Engines’ new NIR-ONE sensor platform also includes ready-made devices and scanners, intended to facilitate rapid market entry for customers by offering more mature building blocks. Studies have compared NIR-ONE sensors with other microspectrometer and laboratory analyzers. Based on these results, NIRONE sensors are able to offer performance comparable to expensive laboratory instruments but with a fraction of the cost and size.
