A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom, and Carlo Calenda, Minister of Economic Development of Italy, took place today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2017.
The parties discussed the development of Russian-Italian cooperation in the energy sector.
Boris Lim, Director General of NIPIgazpererabotka, Pierroberto Folgiero, Chief Executive Officer of the Maire Tecnimont Group, and Dong Lu, Vice Chairman of the Board of the Sinopec Engineering Group, signed in the presence of Alexey Miller and Carlo Calenda the EPC contract for the off-site facilities at Gazprom’s Amur gas processing plant (GPP).
The off-site facilities will include, among other things, inter-shop pathways and communications, a liquefied natural gas storage with a loading rack, the Amur GPP’s single operator room with an integrated plant management system, and various energy, administrative and auxiliary facilities.
The contract requires the involvement of a Russian organization specializing in automation systems.
Funds for the contract will be secured through project financing provided by credit organizations, including the Italian export credit agency SACE.
