STATEN ISLAND, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, May 4, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Giovanni’s Trattoria, celebrating its second year in business under new ownership, will launch a new dining experience on its outdoor patio called La Terrazza this May. Terrazza, Italian for terrace, will feature a fusion of traditional and contemporary food items as well as exciting handcrafted cocktails which will be served Thursday thru Saturday from 10pm-2am. Terrazza will also offer a brunch menu on Sunday’s beginning Mother’s Day. — Frank Rapacciuolo
“Dining options after 10 or 11pm are extremely limited,” said Frank Rapacciuolo, Co-Owner of Giovanni’s Trattoria and La Terrazza. “There’s no reason that after going to see a movie, or getting home late from work, that you can’t enjoy great food and cocktails as well as service. That’s what our new concept is all about.”
Terrazza will feature menu items such as truffle mac and cheese, chicken Frangelico skewers, and skirt steak, as well as some creative culinary dishes like Italian Tacos, baked clams limoncello, and a flight of burrata cheese. Handmade brick oven specialties will also be featured in the food lineup.
“We’re inviting the community to join us for our soft opening,” said Alessandro Colizza, Co-Owner and Chef. “The food will be complimentary, and all we ask is for honest feedback so that we can better serve our customers when we officially launch.”
The soft opening event will be invitation only, and held on an undisclosed date and time over the next few weeks. Terrazza plans to officially open to the public the end of May.
