Associa's MRCM Donates 7,000 Pounds of Food to The Salvation Army
MISSISSAUGA, ON, Jan. 20, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Maple Ridge Community Management (MRCM), an Associa company, is proud to report that 40 communities under MRCM's administration participated in the Salvation Army food drive this holiday season. The collective efforts resulted in 7,037 pounds of food donated to help feed those in need.
"The generosity shown this year was beyond what we expected as we surpassed last years' donation total by more than 1,000 pounds," said MRCM President Michael Le Page. "We are so appreciative of the kindness shown from all those who participated and we look forward to raising the bar even higher next year."
The Salvation Army is now the largest non-governmental direct provider of social services in the country, serving over 1.85 million people each year, in 400 communities across Canada.
