Professionals involved in GDPR compliance encouraged to participate in the GDPR Survey to win £300 voucher
The GDPR considerably reforms the data protection environment and creates new obligations for all organisations that process the data of EU residents. Organisations have less than 18 months to comply with the Regulation.
To better hold organisations to account, the GDPR has a number of sanctions and requirements, including fines (up to 4% of annual global turnover or €20 million, whichever is higher), extended rights for data subjects, allowance for data subjects to bring legal action against organisations in case of a data breach, and a 72-hour breach notification period, among many others.
Given the impact that the GDPR will have on organisations, IT Governance’s GDPR Survey is designed to assess the level of GDPR awareness and readiness worldwide. The responses will inform the development of comprehensive solutions for GDPR compliance that are suited to the challenges faced by data protection professionals.
IT Governance would like to hear from data protection professionals about what their business is doing, or planning to do, in order to achieve compliance with the GDPR. All the responses to the survey will be treated anonymously and participants can opt in to receive a copy of the report with the results of the survey.
Moreover, participants in the GDPR Survey have the chance to win a £300 voucher, which can be used on their own professional development or to help support GDPR compliance projects.
