Brew Export announced today that the company plans to launch four more brands in the Chinese market in 2017 as well as establish the presence of American craft beer in more Asian, South American, and Caribbean countries. Brew Export projects over 1.5 million bottles of American craft brew will be exported next year. The announcement was made as part of Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Director Jamie Clover Adams’ trade mission which kicked off this week.
In 2016, Brew Export launched Dark Horse Brewing Co., Back Forty Beer Company, Arcadia Ales, and Greenbush Brewing Co. in the Chinese beer market. “The response to American craft beer in China has been overwhelmingly positive. The Chinese are attracted to the high quality ingredients and innovative flavors,” says Shannon Long, Founder & CEO of Brew Export.

"Brew Export is an outstanding example of what Michigan food and agriculture companies can accomplish in markets around the world," said Clover Adams. "We are pleased the resources available to Michigan companies from our International Marketing Program were able to help Brew Export get off to such a phenomenal start in the global economy."
