WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - November 09, 2016) - U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) President, Oklahoma City (OK) Mayor Mick Cornett today sent a letter congratulating President-elect Donald J. Trump.

"Please accept our commitment to work with you and your Administration as we move forward together to serve the people of America," Cornett stated.

Cornett -- who addressed the Republican National Convention in Cleveland -- thanked President-elect Trump for emphasizing in his speech last evening that, "We are going to fix our inner cities and rebuild our highways, bridges, tunnels, airports, schools, and hospitals. Mayor Cornett formally requested a meeting for the bipartisan leadership of The U.S. Conference of Mayors with President-elect Trump to discuss the shared priorities of infrastructure investment and public safety, as the incoming Administration moves toward the inauguration and first 100 days.
