Agria Corporation Announces Intention to Appeal NYSE Decision

/EINPresswire.com/ -- AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND--(Marketwired - Nov 8, 2016) -  Agria Corporation (NYSE: GRO) ("Agria" or "the Company"), today announced that it will appeal the decision by the New York Stock Exchange ("NYSE") to commence proceedings to delist the American Depository Shares ("ADSs") of Agria from the NYSE. Trading of the Company's ADSs was suspended on November 3, 2016, after the NYSE notified the company of the decision to commence delisting proceedings. 

The Company disagrees with the statements included in the NYSE's press release, dated November 3, 2016, and intends to challenge the NYSE's investigation findings and conclusions. The Company is in the process of appealing to the Committee of the Board of Directors of the NYSE, and will continue to work with the NYSE during the appeal process.
