Stop Domestic Violence Now!

Gospel artist Karen Pacouloute is coming to help My Sister’s Lighthouse to fight against Domestic Violence

NEWARK , NJ, UNITED STATE, September 8, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- September 10, 2016, at Trinity Baptist Church, 396-406 South 12th Street, Newark, NJ. 07103 at 12:00 pm. Karen Pacouloute, will be singing at a breakfast for Domestic Violence event. Karen has been told by friends, fans and loved ones that she has a strong resemblance and contemporary modern day gospel sound of the late Legendary Mahalia Jackson. Karen is a kind hearted, compassionate, family oriented, and natural phenomenal woman. It was her deep desire to change the world with her sound and love for God through worship and by becoming a strong activist for Domestic violence.

Karen shared the account of a woman giving her a call one late night that was being beaten. Per the woman’s statement, she was being strangled by her mate with a metal chain used to walk a dog. As the woman screamed for her life, Karen calmly told her to pretend she was dead, as over the phone, she was powerless to help or do anything. Later that day the woman called her number again and thanked her because that helped her to escape from her desperate situation. Karen has said, she wants to be the enforcer who will share the truth about domestic violence and what is happening daily amongst women in all walks of life. Karen believes everyone can get out of a bad situation irrespective of the racial and gender barriers that discriminate by social stereotypical statistics. Not only women, but there are men as well that experience verbal, mental, or physical abuse in domestic violence situations.

Karen has been invited not only to speak, but to sing as well at Mrs. Jacqueline Limehouse event. She is the founders of My Sister’s Lighthouse Resource Center in Newark, NJ a 501 ( c) 3 Non- Profit Corporation. MizMacMarketing LLC., Karen’s PR sent one of her songs over “We Bow Down” for review by Mrs. Limehouse and immediately, it was recognized as a song that would have the grace and ability to bring healing.

Karen has performed this same song at the Eric Gardner Memorial Service held at New Hope Baptist Church in Elizabeth, NJ. in front of Congressman Donald Payne Jr. Councilman Jerry Green, and televised over ABC channel 7, New Jersey news channel 12 and other major media outlets that were present. Mrs. Limehouse was able to view the powerful performance and knew instantly that she would be great for the program.
