GARDEN GROVE, CALIF., UNITED STATES, July 23, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- GARDEN GROVE, Calif. – Author Diane Johns crafts a witty and reflective read as she teaches readers how God wants us to live and to learn from our mistakes in her autobiography, “Memoirs from a Fishbowl and Other Random Thoughts!”

“Memoirs from a Fishbowl and Other Random Thoughts!” is an ingenious, thoughtful and enlightening memoir that catches a glimpse into the author’s 30 years of trying to make it in the world with her dignity still intact.

“I’ve been trying to make it in the world as a navy veteran, divorced and a single parent of two boys since adulthood. My book was made out of quickly writing on anything and I could find to write on, whether it could be brown paper bags, napkins, scraps of paper, or little green booklets. I kept all memoirs in a worn out blue duffel bag… until one day, I decided to fulfill a bucket list dream,” Johns shares when asked about the inspiration behind her book.

John’s book is a relatable literary write-up that serves as a life coaching book among her readers. The author shares of how her trials and triumphs have inspired her to get closer to God and to learn from her mistakes.

“I’ve laughed, cried, and was scared all within a few minutes of turning the pages. It’s an awesome, comforting, and easy to read. I feel as though Diane is right in the room with me,” shares Angel Grace Igot, Acquisitions Editor for Tate Publishing.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Born in Southern California and raised in the Appalachian Mountains, being a Navy Veteran and topping her topsy-turvy life off by raising her two sons as a single parent will make for a fascinating easy read.

Johns didn’t let being born backward and upside down holds her back in the least. Ever since her birth in 1962, she has marched to a beat to a different drum making her life very different indeed.

Even when Johns has been through the school of hard knocks, she has a bachelor from Chapman University and a lot of papers saying she has knowledge in Mortgage, Life & Health Insurance and Massage Therapy. Johns’ hobbies are writing, drawing, watching movies, spectator and fan of baseball and dirt bike riding and anything with water make her happy.
