The United States is hosting the international tournament over the course of June 2016, marking the first time that the tournament has been held outside of South America since its inception. Copa America 2016 will feature the best teams and players from CONMEBOL (South American football confederation) and CONCACAF (the football confederation for North America, Central America, and the Caribbean).

- Winner Take All: Cash prize is given to the top ranked participant.
- Head-to-Head: Two participants face off, and the participant with the highest amount of points takes the whole cash prize.
