WOLCOTT, CONN., UNITED STATES, June 1, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- WOLCOTT, Conn. – Author Richard Irwin shares positivity among readers as he tells his story of independence, self-reliance, and reality in his upcoming book, “Our Life in Boxes.”

A story of self-belief, dedication, and acceptance, “Our Life in Boxes” is a must-read personal memoir about a person who realizes that, to understand his current state in life, to get answers from all the questions in his mind, is only himself.

“I had been working offshore in many different countries over a large number of years by myself. One day, in my apartment in Moscow, Russia, the thought of why was I there came sort of out of nowhere it seemed. I had to find the answer. So, over the next year, I posed a periodic question which I put in letter form and sent to my daughter back home. Then, I answered the question in another letter from my guardian angel which I also sent to my daughter. She kept them together and sent them to me when I returned home packaged in a book format,” shares Irwin when asked about the inspiration behind his book.

“It could help those younger persons who are looking for a way to put value in their lives,” states Trinity Tate-Edgerton, co-owner and Acquisitions Editor for Tate Publishing.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available upon its release, through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Richard Irwin was a person born into a family of 5 children who lived in a small town in Montana, moving later to another Montana town, and on to another small town in Washington State. His father did not finish high school but had the drive to work hard and take care of his family. He had to teach himself the basics of electrical theory which he did through a correspondence course. The motivation of his father and the discipline of his mother gave him the self-confidence to go out into the world and deal with whatever came in front of him.

Irwin went on in life to marry and provide for 5 of his own children. His life's experiences were so fascinating and yet so unexpected in the sense that he was kind of in a reaction mode to all that was being presented to him. No one told him that one day, despite being a kid from Montana, that he would serve in the nuclear navy or he would walk the Great Wall of China, or carry out work on the Iraqi desert. He had to write about this great life he led.
