Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc., a leading manufacturer of off-road and street performance tires, is bringing its popular Auto Enthusiast Day car show back to Texas for the second year in a row. On Saturday, May 21st, 2016, gearheads from across Texas will converge on Globe Life Park in Arlington for a free celebration of all things wheeled that includes a judged car show, drifting and off-road racing demonstrations by Team Nitto drivers, a vendor midway, prize raffles, and live entertainment.

Following a successful first event in 2015, Nitto Tire is returning to the Lone Star State to host the 2nd Annual Texas Auto Enthusiast Day car show. The event will feature something for fans of all facets of the automotive culture and lifestyle -- from modified import cars to lifted trucks, European sports cars and American muscle cars, the event includes something for everyone.

The main attraction of Auto Enthusiast Day is the car show which will feature the hottest rides from all across Texas with awards being given out to cars and trucks in 8 different categories, including the new "Nitto Tire King of Texas" award in which judges get to cast their vote for the ultimate lifted truck. In addition to the car show, Nitto's sponsored drivers will be giving driving demonstrations throughout the day. This year, drift racer Matt Powers, originator of the "360 Drift," will be wowing crowds with jaw-dropping displays of car control as he slides his car less than an inch from the wall. Off-Road racer and two-time King of the Hammers champion Loren Healey will also be on hand demonstrating the amazing capabilities of his Ultra4 buggy. There will also be a Vendor Midway featuring the hottest new products in the industry and displays from the top shops in Texas.

The event will take place on Saturday, May 21st, 2016 at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas and runs from 10am to 4pm. Admission to the event is free for everyone and the first 500 car show participants will also receive a free gift for being part of the show. Vendor space is free of charge for companies that want to show off their latest products, but space is limited and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
