PRSA-NY Announces Finalists for 2016 Big Apple Awards #BigApplePR
Fifty-Four Unique Campaigns/Entries to Be Honored During 28th Annual #PR Industry Award Program Celebrating Excellence in Communications
/EINPresswire.com/ -- NEW YORK, NY --(Marketwired - April 15, 2016) - The Public Relations Society of America-New York Chapter (PRSA-NY) announced today the list of finalists to be honored during the 2016 Big Apple Awards, a prestigious annual program honoring outstanding public relations campaigns and projects developed or implemented in and around New York City.
Big Apple award entries were evaluated by teams of senior-level PR practitioners representing a broad range of disciplines and expertise. The 2016 panel included nearly 90 individuals who reviewed and scored the entries using an online judging portal and then met in person for roundtable discussions to ultimately determine the finalists.
The 54 unique campaigns or entries selected for recognition will be honored during an awards presentation gala on Thursday evening, June 2

Identification of individual category winners and honorable mention recipients will remain strictly confidential until their announcement during the 2016 awards presentation ceremony on Thursday evening, June 2, 2016, at the Mandarin Oriental New York.
Category winners are eligible to be named overall winners for the "Best Use of Research," "Best Business/ Campaign Outcomes" and "Best of the Best" awards.
The evening will also include presentations of the John W. Hill award for outstanding lifetime achievements in public relations; the Philip Dorf for leadership and mentorship; the President's Award for ethical conduct and outstanding service; and the inaugural presentation of the "15 Under 35" awards for emerging talent within the New York metro area PR and communications community.
