HelioPower Becomes A Special Participant For the Solar Worker Advisory Training In The San Bernardino Region

HelioPower is a special participant for the luncheon discussion on worker training and the growing Solar Industry in the San Bernardino region.

MURRIETA, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, April 8, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- HelioPower, an integrated energy solutions company since 2001, was a special participant for the worker training and the solar Industry luncheon in the San Bernardino county area. The luncheon was held at the San Bernardino Community College District and was hosted by Larry McLaughlin, who is the Regional Director and DSN for the Advanced Transportation and Renewable Energy in the Inland Empire/Dessert Region Colleges. Among their wide range of guests, were SunRun, Renova Solar, Horizon Solar, Victor Valley College, and College of the Desert, DS Energy Solutions, and Grid Alternatives.

There was general agreement that the industry has grown over the past few years and expected to continue the growth, moving forward. Some of the key points that were included were how the technical training could be more extensive? That most of the training should be hands on so that candidates can have viable experience.

“It's about time that an event like this has been organized.” Says Rose Roseta, Talent Acquisition Manager from HelioPower, “It was a great event where organizations within the Solar Industry collaborated and provided insight into how we can partner together to prepare for the growth that is to come. Educators are now able to get firsthand information from employers on what skills are expected and needed from prospective employees. This allows solar programs to further tailor their curriculum based on this firsthand insight. “

With HelioPower’s participation, they were able to successfully set their direction for solar education and training in the Inland Empire and Desert Region.

“As the industry continues to evolve and change,” Rose continues, “It is important that we keep the lines of communication and collaboration open to properly prepare and adapt to the growth of the Solar Industry.”

“The Energy Industry with its rapid growth is starved for the additional talent resources needed to sustain such success. The opportunities for a career path are limitless and events such as this are critical moving forward.” Said Phil DelNegro, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for HelioPower.

Advanced Transportation and Renewable Energy’s next step is to use the input they have gathered into shaping their current programs as well as considering how to expand on the training available within the region.
