The Edmonton Ski Club to Host ASA Series Northern Stop II
/EINPresswire.com/ -- The Edmonton Ski Club will be hosting the second stop of the Northern Series this Sunday. The event will be a slopestyle competition for both beginner and competitive athletes. This will be the first event of this kind to be hosted by The Edmonton Ski Club. Registration will be open from 9:30-11 a.m. on the day of the event. The award ceremony will be held in the main lodge at 4 p.m.
"Alberta Snowboarding Association (ASA) is encouraging all local riders to participate regardless of their experience and skill level," said Chelsea Webster, Director of Operations at ASA. "We want riders to get a feel for what organized competitions look like so that we can increase involvement in the sport as well as recreation and training opportunities for athletes in the Edmonton area."
