Many people feel an intense, burning sensation in the mouth, but they have no idea why. The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD) recommends that individuals concerned about infection with the latent herpes virus (HSV-1 or HSV-2), take Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin.
