Women In Consulting (WIC) Launches 14th Annual Best Practices Survey

Covers Best Practices and Compensation Trends of Women Consultants and Business Owners in the Bay Area and Nationwide

/EINPresswire.com/ -- SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - January 13, 2016) - Women In Consulting® (WIC) launched its annual Best Practices and Compensation Survey today. Now in its 14th year, the survey reveals best practices and techniques that help women consultants and business owners grow their businesses and increase their revenue. With year-over-year results, the survey also reveals trends in consulting. Both WIC and non-WIC members nationwide can take the survey now at http://tinyurl.com/WIC2016.

WIC is a collaborative community that helps professional consultants and women business owners build strong businesses. WIC helps its members grow professionally through formal programs and through a supportive community that fosters collaboration and sharing.

"This survey is a prime source of information about practical ways to strengthen and expand a business," said Deb Siegle, WIC's president and the president of Strategic Marketing Solutions. "The survey underscores WIC's mission to foster collaboration and help consultants and women business owners expand their capabilities, improve their skills and thrive."

The survey covers overall trends in revenue and rates, and examines best practices, including the choice of business structure, use of employees and subcontractors, billing practices, networking and marketing approaches. The WIC survey team analyzes the responses of top-earning consultants to identify best practices. The team also tracks evolving trends by comparing results to previous years.

"Because this is our 14th year of this survey, we have the advantage of hindsight and can identify the best practices that work year after year," said Jen Berkley Jackson, WIC's executive vice president and president of The Insight Advantage. "Consultants and women business owners nationwide tell us that the survey information has helped them build strong businesses for the long term."

The survey is open to WIC members and non-members nationwide until February 9. Participants will receive a detailed, full-color report detailing the survey results. Those results will be presented at a WIC members-only meeting on Thursday, April 21. A free webinar detailing the survey results will be presented in May. Check the WIC calendar of events for details and registration information.
