SpinAgain, Rolligo, and WOO! to Compete With Heavyweights for the Toy Industry Association's Top Award

The Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards honor the best, brightest and most innovative toys developed each year in twelve categories.
Winners from each category also advance for the opportunity to be named overall Toy of the Year. A People's Choice Award, based on consumer voting, is also part of the annual competition.
With three nominations, Fat Brain Toy Co. stands out in a crowd of industry giants including Hasbro, Spin Master, and Mattel. Competition for this prestigious award is extremely intense with over 700 submissions from more than 200 companies around the world. Fat Brain Toy Co. touts three nominations in three categories.
Fat Brain Toy Co.'s finalists include SpinAgain, a stacking toy with a twist, nominated in the Specialty Toy of the Year category, Rolligo, the colorful, design-inspired push toy nominated in the Infant/Toddler Toy category and WOO!, the fast-paced family game that marries numbers and letters nominated in the Game of the Year category.
"Whether we ultimately win a TOTY award or not, we see these nominations as validation of the innovation that is intrinsic to our line of toys," explained co-founder Mark Carson. Finalists were selected by nomination committees comprised of ten (10) to fifteen (15) experts knowledgeable of the toy industry. Each category had its own nominating committee. Members represented a cross-section of: Retail Buyers, Journalists, Toy Specialists, and professionals such developmental psychologists and play therapists.
Previous winners of this award include last year's winner Zoomer Dino. Past TOTY winners include, Rainbow Loom, Leap Pad, and LEGO Friends.
