NREL Wind, Marine and Hydrokinetic, and Hydropower Small Business Voucher Open House

9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. MT As part of the Small Business Vouchers (SBV) Pilot to help advance the clean energy economy, DOE's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) is funding up to $20 million worth of vouchers to eligible small businesses across renewable energy technology areas. These vouchers aim to facilitate small business awareness of and access to national laboratory capabilites and propose impactful collaborative projects to the SBV Pilot that advance their promising technologies. Projects selected through merit review will have the national laboratory work on the projects funded by DOE.
Learn more about the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's (NREL's) significant experience, capabilities, and unique testing infrastructure that small businesses can leverage to advance and accelerate their research, product devlopment, and commercialization. Throughout this event you will hear from NREL experts in wind and water technology areas on how NREL's national lab assets can best contribute to your goals.
Topics for Wind, Marine and Hydrokinetic, and Hydropower will include:
- Laboratory, field, and open-water testing.
- Grid modeling and testing.
- System and component simulation and modeling.
- Analysis of levelized cost of energy, manufacturing, and deployment.
A tour of NREL's National Wind Technology Center facilities will allow participants to see testing infrastructure and explore relevant application to their R&D challenges. Please RSVP no later than November 19, 2015.
