Tap.in2 Technology Allows Sports Fans Real-time In-Seat Delivery Via Mobile
/EINPresswire.com/ -- LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - October 29, 2015) - Tap.in2, a leading in-venue app that enables fans to purchase merchandise directly from their smart phones, today announced the official partnership with STAPLES Center and AEG Merchandise to allow Los Angeles Clippers, Lakers and Kings fans the unique opportunity to order official team merchandise from their mobile phone and have it delivered right to their ticketed seat.
Tap.in2 and STAPLES Center along with AEG Merchandise will be launching the in-seat merchandise delivery service at the Los Angeles Clippers home game opener against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday, October 29
"We are incredibly excited to have a partner like Tap.in2. This is a service that we have been exploring for some time and are thrilled to be able to finally roll it out to our fans here at STAPLES Center," said Sean Ryan, Vice President, AEG Merchandise. "Our goal is to help provide a service that we hope our fans enjoy and will allow them to purchase their favorite team's merchandise quickly and efficiently right from any smartphone and have it delivered right to their seat."
AEG Merchandise worked with Tap.in2 to develop an in-seat merchandise delivery system that could be deployed at any of their other global venues to increase fans' per capita expenditures on merchandise. Tap.in2 can be embedded in each team's own branded app or venue app for fans to easily access and efficiently implement.
"Tap.in2 is excited to be joining forces with STAPLES Center and AEG Merchandise and their TEAM LA Store that is the one stop shop for all LA Kings, Clippers, and Lakers fans, and help them to facilitate a new era for mobile merchandise sales at sports and entertainment venues," said Jordan Syms, President and Co-founder for Tap.in2. "Fans no longer have to search for a merchandise stand or spend time waiting in line during a game, because now they can have their favorite and newest team gear delivered directly to their seat."
Tap.in2 has already activated its in-venue mobile ordering system with the LA Kings and STAPLES Center and is already off to a successful start with their fans. The company expects to deploy its mobile in-seat delivery service to Lakers fans soon. In addition, the Tap.in2 system can integrate directly into existing business and technology systems, scaling rapidly from 1 seat to 100,000 seats as well as from 1 stadium to 100+ stadiums.
Tap.in2 is enabling STAPLES Center to be the second stadium to offer full-service in-seat delivery of merchandise to fans at games from their smartphones.
