Hubbard Dental Practice Offering Free Treatments for Veterans
HUBBARD, OH--(Marketwired - October 26, 2015) - A Hubbard dental office trained in all phases of dentistry will provide free dental exams and treatments to veterans for one day in early November.
/EINPresswire.com/ -- On Nov. 6, Braydich Dental will provide free dental treatments to former military service members who show proof of service. The staff at Braydich Dental will provide the veterans with either a free cleaning, filling, extraction or denture repair.
“Braydich Dental and our patients appreciate those who have defended our freedoms,” said Dr. Rudy Braydich of Braydich Dental. “It is our small way of thanking them, and we hope we can also improve their oral health and make them feel better about their smile.”
During the event, the Braydich Dental staff will serve veterans from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on a first-come, first-serve basis. The staff will also have free refreshments available.
Braydich Dental contacts local VFW organizations in Warren and Youngstown, Ohio, as well as parts of eastern Pennsylvania. Dr. Braydich estimates that his practice has given away thousands of dollars in free dental care to veterans, adding that many former military service members often struggle to find dental insurance to cover their needs. “We hear so much today of veterans being forgotten when it comes to health care and other essentials of life,” Dr. Braydich said. “We thought we would step up and give our time and talents to our veterans to show our appreciation of their service to our great country.”
Braydich Dental provides dental implants, short-term orthodontic solutions like Invisalign and Six Month Smiles, sleep apnea treatment and gum disease treatment.
Dr. Mark Braydich earned his biology degree from Brown University in 1987 and then received his dental degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1992.
Dr. Braydich has taken continuing education courses in dental implants at the Misch Implant Institute and has extensive training in cosmetic dentistry. He holds memberships with local and national dental organizations and is certified in dental implants, mini dental implants, Six Month Smiles and sleep apnea treatment.
Dr. Rudy Braydich is a 1973 graduate of John Carroll University and earned his dental degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1977. He started Braydich Dental with his wife in 1977 after graduating from dental school. Dr. Rudy Braydich has a passion for dentistry and regularly speaks with local schools and offers free dental screenings. He holds a membership with the Crown Council, and he also serves the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine Dental Network Committee and sits on the advisory committee of the Choffin School of Accredited Dental Assisting.
Dr. Stephen Orlosky, a Girard native, holds degrees from Walsh University and The Ohio State University. He was a patient at Braydich Dental for 20 years before he joined the staff. Dr. Orlosky is a skilled general dentist, certified in sleep apnea treatment and Invisalign, who takes pride in educating patients about the importance of good oral health.
Braydich Dental serves the community through both quality dentistry and annual service projects. The practice provides free dental care by participating in the annual Dentistry From The Heart program. The Drs. Braydich instituted Smiles For Charity, a program that gives proceeds from teeth-whitening treatments to local charities. The practice also holds an annual coloring contest for area second graders during National Children's Dental Health Month and supports Santa's Workshop and the Salvation Army.
