About King Youth Foundation

The King Harbor Youth Foundation is a 501c3 charitable organization that was founded at and operates out of the King Harbor Yacht Club. The KHYF was created to promote youth sailing in Southern California. The mission is to provide access to the sport of sailing to local girls and boys of all backgrounds, in order to build self-esteem, teamwork and a respect for the environment.

New Channels is a program that operates under the King Harbor Youth Foundation. It was developed as an avenue to get individuals on the water that would not otherwise have the opportunity. The Foundation puts its resources to work with many diverse groups, taking their members out for a boating experience in the King Harbor channel, with brief interludes into the ocean.
