Innovative Community Solar Array Program Launches In Vermont

September 2015 - In a joint effort by Kendall Sustainable Infrastructure, Kyocera, and SunCommon, Vermont is implementing a new Community Solar Array (CSA) Program. Under the CSA Program, landowners have the option to dedicate a portion of their suitable open land for solar project development. Participants can enroll in the program to purchase power generated by the CSA solar projects and virtually offset their grid power demand. Approximately 50 CSA projects averaging 200 kW each, or a total of about 13 MW, are expected to be operational in 2016.
