Meredith O'Malley Johnson Joins Community First Credit Union
Former community and PR director at One Spark to help build corporate partnerships and employee-focused solutions
JACKSONVILLE, FLA., USA, August 7, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Community First Credit Union has appointed Meredith O’Malley Johnson as its director of corporate partnerships, a new position for the organization. Johnson will assume the role on August 3.Johnson will be responsible for attracting new membership by creating and nurturing relationships with key employers, educators and community groups. She will also be tasked with creating services and products specially designed for targeted employer groups.
In addition to designing custom programs and services, Johnson will be working with employers to provide value-added events like on-site onboarding and financial education seminars. The role is a key part of the ambitious marketing team at Community First.

An original team member at the One Spark festival, she served as the community and public relations director during the organization’s rapid growth in its first three years. In 2014, she founded the nonpartisan Jax Young Voters Coalition and currently serves on its board of directors. She is also on the boards of directors of the Civic Round Table of Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Public Library Foundation and Party, Benefit & Jam.
She is also a veteran of many local and state political campaigns, working in various positions including communications, field operations and finance and also served as a public communications officer for the City of Jacksonville. Johnson has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Florida and earned a master's degree from the University of Florida in political science with a specialty in campaigning.
