STRINGTOWN, OKLA. --, UNITED STATES, June 20, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- STRINGTOWN, Okla. – Published author Miji Yoon takes children into a roller-coaster of fun and adventures as she tells the tale of woodland friends in her juvenile fiction book, “Sanctuary of 10,000 Forests.”— Charles Callaway, Acquisitions Editor
About the book:
In “Sanctuary of 10,000 Forests,” Yoon spins a story of talking animal citizens gathered together for a festival while helping out a friend in trouble and trying out the Woodland Thangamagigger – a newly invented flying machine that eventually makes them encounter tons of new adventures!
At its core, Yoon believes the book centers on inspiring adults to read engaging and charming tales to their children to inculcate the positive values of reading. “I felt compelled to write [the book] and the time seemed right to place it in the market,” says Corey. “I was read to as a child and my first toys were books, so I hope to inspire adults to read it to the children in their lives. I want children to have a positive experience with reading so they will not be afraid to learn how to read. A book is the best gift that a child can be given to. Keeping children reading is my inspiration.”
When asked about her decision to sign the book with Tate, Yoon puts a thoughtful and enthusiastic smile on her face. “I discovered Tate Publishing on the internet and I know two other people who have books published with Tate. I like their mission statement. My book is for children and Tate was a perfect fit for my type of children’s chapter book,” Yoon shares.
Charles Callaway, Acquisitions Editor for Tate Publishing branded Yoon’s book to be an amusing and comical read. “Children of all ages will enjoy this story of rollicking fun, smiles, laughter, and talking animals.”
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book will be available upon its release, through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Yoon is a published writer, artist, photographer, and a former ESL teacher who lived in Korea and enjoyed many traveling adventures. She is an animal rights advocate and nature enthusiast who lives in a designated wildlife sanctuary with her family in the countryside of Southeastern Oklahoma. Miji is especially fond of cats, currently has ten, and has rescued many more.
