Web Courseworks Awarded SeaPort-e Contract

Web Courseworks announced today that the company has received a prime contract award as a result of the SeaPort-e solicitation N00178-14-R-4000.

MADISON, WI, USA, June 10, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Web Courseworks, a leader in hosting, administration, development and support of online training programs, announced today that the company has received a prime contract award as a result of the SeaPort-e FY14 Rolling Admissions solicitation N00178-14-R-4000.

Under the SeaPort-e contract, N00178-15-D-8494, Web Courseworks provides qualified personnel, software, and other services that will support the Navy and Marine Corps in the execution of their overall organizational functions and the specific missions of the individual activities and ordering offices. Web Courseworks has relevant experience in Functional Areas 5, 6, 12, 18, 20 and 22 of the SOW in Zones 2 and 5 in coordination with small, disadvantaged subcontractors Technik and Soul Tree Consulting. Web Courseworks’ core expertise in accordance with the solicitation request includes:

• Training Support – Technical Training Support: This functional area consists of applying the engineering and analytical disciplines required to ensure that the warfighter and technical support community is provided with adequate instruction including applied exercises resulting in the attainment and retention of knowledge, skills, and attitudes regarding the platforms, systems, and warfighting capabilities they operate and maintain.

• Training Support – Professional Development and Training Support: This functional area includes organizational development and process improvement training activities. This functional area consists of information dissemination, as well as the development and facilitation of training for the Navy and Marine Corps workforce related to organizational development and process improvement initiatives. This includes efforts such as implementation of LEAN practices, implementation of National Security Personnel System (NSPS), Competency Alignment initiatives, and other workforce training efforts related to organizational development initiatives, process improvement initiatives and Human Capital Strategies.

The awarded contract is now Web Courseworks' fifth contract vehicle for pursuing federal government contract solicitations. Web Courseworks’ other contract vehicles include:
