1–2 p.m. ET All interested stakeholders are invited to participate in the Distributed Wind Energy Association (DWEA) SMART Wind Consortium virtual meeting for the Consortium's Electrical Subgroup. Jim Sims, vice president of corporate communications for Molycorp Inc., and Xing Chen, Argonne National Laboratory, will present on rare earth magnets in distributed wind turbines. A subgroup discussion will follow the presentations, allowing participants a chance to share thoughts and ideas. The meeting is free for DWEA members and government and non-profit employees.
