Press Release from UAW Black Lake Conference Center re: Great Lakes Burn Camp
UAW Black Lake Conference Center will host the Great Lakes Burn Camp Feb. 21-23, 2015. The Great Lakes Burn Camp is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that provides a fun and caring environment for burn-injured children to laugh, play, heal, grow and just “be a kid” with other burn-injured children from across Michigan and Northern Indiana. Campers will enjoy numerous outdoor activities, including snowmobile rides, dog sledding, tobogganing, ice skating, swimming and more. There will be approximately 120 volunteer staff and children attending this event that is focused on kids ages 6-17 to meet, heal, grow and support other burn survivors.
