4Cable's Patent-Pending RF2F(TM) Technology Gaining Traction With Cable Companies
Conway, SC - (NewMediaWire) - December 10, 2014 - 4Cable TV International,
Inc. (OTCQB: CATV)
("4Cable" and/or the "Company"), a global manufacturer of
outdoor equipment for cable and broadband transmission providers, reported
today that the Company's innovative RF2F™ technology is gaining traction with
cable system operators across the country. 4Cable's RF2F converts RF signals to
fiber to permit cable operators to extend their service areas up to an
additional 10,000 feet. This expanded coverage area allows the cable
operator to extend service lines to previously un-serviced customers.
4Cable has previously reported progress with top-tier MSO's in regards to the internal approval process for the RF2F. Over the past few months, several additional cable system operators, including Multi-System Operators ("MSOs") and Independent Cable Operators have approved the RF2F for purchase. The Company has also been in discussions with multiple 2nd-tier cable companies regarding interest in CATV's RF2F product. RF2F has now gained approval at several 2nd-Tier independent cable companies and these companies have begun sharing internal 2015 budget data to allow CATV to prepare manufacturing and delivery plans for 2015.
"Cable companies beyond the top MSO's represent an important and significant customer base for 4Cable TV," said 4Cable TV International, Inc. President, Mr. Steven K. Richey. "Management anticipates that this customer group will make up a large portion of RF2F sales over the next few years. Management looks forward to converting these approvals and interest into orders from all potential customers over the next several years."
"Our goal has been to introduce RF2F to cable system operators of all sizes across the country," said Mr. Gene Faulkner, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at 4Cable. "In addition to the large MSOs, smaller Independent cable operators have thousands, if not millions, of potential subscribers just outside their service areas. RF2F provides them with an inexpensive solution to extend their networks to these subscribers who are demanding access to high quality, high bandwidth services currently available only through hard wire fiber optic landline connections."
