RIVERVIEW, FLA., USA, November 8, 2014 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Local author K.D Brown shares two of her new inspirational books, "Hi, God" and "Four Lucky Leaves."— K.D. Brown
"Hi, God" is a book about Louie who decides he wants to talk with God but stumbles over the idea of how to pray. Intent on imitating the different ways he has seen other people pray, Louie eventually forgets about what he really wanted to pray about.
When a four-leaf clover is bullied for being different, he tries to change his appearance in order to blend in. Convinced that his extra leaf has doomed him to remain an outcast, a new friend makes him realize that sometimes the only way to fit in is to stand out, in Four Lucky Leaves.
"I wrote these books because each one conveys a message that is important to me personally. Four Lucky Leaves is intended to teach kids at a young age that they should embrace their uniqueness. Bullying is such a huge problem that I hope it helps them to understand how it makes others feel and what they can do to prevent it. Hi, God is intended to teach children that there's no wrong or right way to pray; the important thing is that they talk to God in a way that feels right for them," shares Brown when asked about the inspiration behind her books.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
