Local author Eileen Rohr recently teamed up with Tate Publishing to kick-start the publication process of her new book, What Love Sees.
What Love Sees is an inspiring memoir of Rohr's experience with physically and intellectually challenged people and how it changed her perspective in life.
Being a mother of an adoptive son was what prompted Eileen to publish What Love Sees. "There is great societal pressure to look at a person who is judged as incompetent and then to question the value or 'quality' in their lives," shares Eileen.

Eileen Rohr has a degree in Nursing and Psychology to support her attempt in educating herself about physically and mentally challenged individuals. Eileen eventually decided to foster and adopt a child who had special needs and is now a proud mother of Mohammed. It is this relationship with Mohammed that compelled her to tell her story.
