On the heels of a successful 14th Annual Kohler Food & Wine Experience, Destination Kohler continues commitment to secure top talent for signature festivities

Jacques and Claudine Pepin will make their third appearance together at the annual Kohler Food & Wine Experience. The culinary duo will help the destination celebration 15 years of historic culinary education and memorable experiences in Kohler. The annual event, which draws thousands of people from around the country to the quaint Village of Kohler, started in 2000 and has quickly become known as the premier Midwest wine, spirits and culinary festival, offering novices and experts the opportunity to learn directly from wine proprietors, interact with celebrity chefs, participate in signature events and enjoy gourmet food and drink samples throughout the weekend.

The 14th annual Kohler Food & Wine Experience wrapped up this past weekend with a strong line-up of experts including Geoffrey Zakarian, Stephanie Izard, Graham Elliot, Rick Tramonto and Christopher Kimball, who kept audiences entertained and educated. This year, guests attended from 20 different states, the Stella Artois Main Stage served more than 4,500 samples of food throughout the weekend and there were more than 300 different varieties of wine and spirits available to taste.
In Celebration of Chocolate – Feb 6-8, 2015
For the first time since the chocolate-themed event launched, In Celebration of Chocolate will welcome a celebrity chef to headline the event. James Beard Award winning Pastry Chef and recent head judge of Bravo’s culinary competition series “Top Chef: Just Desserts,” Johnny Iuzzini, will join The Kitchens of Kohler to celebrate a delicious weekend. Iuzzini has more than 20 years of experience and honed his craft at highly lauded dining locations such as The River Café in Brooklyn, NY along with Daniel, Payard, Café Boulud and Jean Georges in New York City. In addition, he has been recognized as one of the “10 Most Influential Pastry Chefs in America” by Forbes.
In Celebration of Chocolate, a three-day event is modeled after the successful Kohler Food & Wine Experience on a more intimate scale. The weekend includes chocolate-inspired dinners where Chefs use cocoa and chocolates in creative ways throughout the menu; traditional and untraditional pairings with wine, beer, port and cheese; as well as the weekend’s signature event at the Kohler Design Center. KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates, a line of handmade chocolates that Kohler Co. launched in 2007, shines during this weekend soiree allowing guests to taste test the signature and newest creations from the onsite talented Chocolatier.
