DOE Seeks Small Businesses for Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant Infrastructure Support Services

Cincinnati -- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today issued a Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking eligible small businesses under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561210, Facilities Support Services, for the performance of infrastructure support services at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PGDP).

A contract with firm-fixed-price, cost reimbursement, and indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract line items for the purpose of providing infrastructure support services at the PGDP is anticipated. The total estimated value of the contract is over $100 million with a base period of performance of one year and four one-year option periods.

The infrastructure support services to be provided under this acquisition include surveillance, maintenance and repair of facilities; janitorial services; grounds maintenance, snow removal, and pest control; roadway/parking lot maintenance; computing, telecommunication, and cyber security; fleet management; real and personal property management; records management and document control; safeguards and security; environment, safety, health and quality (ESHQ) program; and training services.
