America Lung Association to Release "State of the Air 2014" Report

WHAT: The American Lung Association is releasing the results of its 15th annual “State of the Air” report, a national air quality “report card” that grades counties and ranks cities across the nation based on their scores for ozone (sometimes called smog), year-round particle pollution (sometimes called soot) and short-term particle pollution levels.
WHERE: The full report will be available at www.stateoftheair.org, on April 30, 2014, at 12 a.m. (local time), including trend charts and rankings for metropolitan areas and county grades, an infographic, and a full discussion of health concerns and policy recommendations.
WHEN: Materials are embargoed until Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 12:00 a.m. (local time).
