Starting more than a year ago, NREL initiated work to expand the Jobs and Economic Development Impacts (JEDI) model to include fixed-bottom offshore wind technology. Following the completion of the model (and in partnership with the DOE Wind Program, Illinois State University, and James Madison University), NREL supported the analysis of the regional jobs and economic impacts of offshore wind for the Great Lakes, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Gulf Coast regions. The November Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach webinar will provide an overview of the new offshore wind JEDI model and review the four assessments that have been completed.
The webinar is free. Advance registration is not required. Log-in information is below.
