Gazovik Cultural and Sports Complex inaugurated by Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg in Tatishchevo settlement of Perevolotsk District, Orenburg Region

The Gazovik Cultural and Sports Center was inaugurated on September 10 in the Tatishchevo settlement of the Perevolotsk District, Orenburg Region. It was constructed by Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg under the Gazprom for Children program. This Center will be the main venue for sporting activities of the Tatishchevo settlement as well as the nearby settlements of Zubochistka, Zubochistka-2, Rodnichny Dol and Chesnokovka. In this way, about 500 schoolchildren will take part in District-wide sporting events.

“Owing to the Gazprom for Children program, young citizens of the Orenburg Region have a chance to exercise in comfortable conditions,” stressed Sergey Ivanov, Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg. “They may not necessarily become Olympic champions, but they will surely grow up healthy people.”

The Center construction costs amounted to RUB 38.9 million. The 18X30 meters building is made of light-gauge constructions.

A multifunctional gym is designed for futsal, basketball, volleyball, handball, table tennis and artistic gymnastics workouts. Cultural events may also be held in the gym. In addition, the Sports Center has a fully equipped fitness room, a coach room, two changing rooms with shower areas and lavatories.

The building has a modular boiler room also used for heating the adjacent school building. The Sports Center is connected with the school by a heated walkway.

The company renders support to the Orenburg and Perevolotsk Districts of the Orenburg Region, where the main production facilities of the Orenburg Gas Chemical Complex are located.

Between 2011 and 2013 Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg constructed 6 children’s playgrounds and upgraded 11 spring wells in the Perevolotsk District. The total amount of financial assistance in the said period equaled RUB 50 million.
