WASHINGTON, D.C., Nov. 27, 2012 — The American Bar Association Sections of Antitrust Law and International Law have submitted comments (see link below) regarding the proposed regulation of the European Parliament and of the European Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

These views are being presented only on behalf of the Sections of Antitrust Law and International Law. They have not been approved by the ABA House of Delegates or Board of Governors and should not be construed as representing the policy of the American Bar Association.
