Senior Care Expert Peter Mangiola to Appear on Local Philadelphia Radio Show to Discuss Obamacare

/EINPresswire.com/ On Friday May 31 from 3-4 PM Eastern Time, Peter Mangiola RN MSN will be an In-Studio Guest on the Tone & Tenor Radio Show (Philadelphia’s WWDB 860 AM) hosted by Al Berry and Randall Jefferson to discuss Obamacare's impact on seniors

Peter Mangiola, a Senior Health and Advocacy Expert, will appear as an in-studio guest this Friday, May 31 on the Tone and Tenor Radio Show on Philadelphia's WWDB 860 AM. The live broadcast gives listeners the opportunity to call-in with questions for Peter about the ACA at 610-664-4100.

Since the Affordable Care Act was first proposed, a lot of misinformation has been spread, much of it concerning seniors and the changes to their health care coverage.

“Senior citizens certainly had reason to worry during the debates over health care reform,” Mangiola says. “Some of the most pervasive rumors involved people over the age of 65. For example, many claimed that health care reform legislation would involve dramatic cuts in service for Medicare recipients, which is untrue. Also, false was the rumor that old people would be forced to face death panels, which would decide who could receive certain medical services. Nothing resembling such a panel was ever put on the table.”

During the broadcast, Mr. Mangiola will discuss at least five ways the ACA will actually be good for seniors; starting with fraud protection, the sustainability of the program, and even prescription and medication coverage.

Since the show’s format includes live listener call-ins, seniors and their families will have a chance to speak directly to Mr. Mangiola personally by calling 610-664-4100 during the show -- which broadcasts live from 3-4pm EST, and will rebroadcast next Thursday June 6th, from 10-11.

In case listeners miss the broadcast, Mr. Mangiola will be making the full article Five Ways the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Will Be Good for Seniors available online in the near future. Check his website for updates.
